Title: Talladega
Enjoi291 - October 4, 2008 10:08 PM (GMT)
How much bs was that? Any other time the caution would have waved, why not there? The Toyotas were toying with everyone the entire race, they kept pulling away from the pack by about 5 car lengths with only 2 guys, that was just dumb, no one had a chance against the toyotas. They were just waiting the entire race.
hgimn - October 4, 2008 10:16 PM (GMT)
how is that dumb?that was totally awesome.
hanklee00fan - October 4, 2008 10:16 PM (GMT)
maybe nascar realized they shouldn't ruin what's gonna be a wild finish.
deijr1238 - October 4, 2008 10:17 PM (GMT)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPXNYfPR_LcSeem familiar? They done the same thing there, which it was bs then. It's still bs, but I like it because it made KyBusch drop back to 3rd lol
Great racing at the end, all race long for that matter.
Enjoi291 - October 4, 2008 10:18 PM (GMT)
That wasn't a wild finish though. That finish sucked, the winner was decided on entry of turn 3 when Bodine put the pedal all the way to the floor. No one was touching that 30 truck. I don't care if they say Ford had them on horse power, that 30 truck pretty much was the inside line, I'm surprised Bodine didn't push the 51 further out than he was.

apparently you didnt notice the Fords, who clearly have the HP everyone thought Toyota had now that they made the Toyotas run a smaller taperd spacer. Qualifying was evidence of that.
Anyway Hornaday spun off 2 at MIS and they let them run to the finish, imo if a wreck happens behind the field they should just let em go.
hanklee00fan - October 4, 2008 10:25 PM (GMT)
I only watched the last 20 laps or so on that restart and it was pretty neat to watch. But I can't really watch 3 hours of it, gives me a headache with all the yelling from the announcers. Cup race should be fun tomorrow.
CEfanDP99 - October 4, 2008 10:27 PM (GMT)
The Roush trucks are always the fastest at Daytona and Talladega.
rcrfan072931 - October 4, 2008 10:34 PM (GMT)
I guarantee if they would have thrown a caution there giving Busch the win there would be a topic on here just like this one but with more OMFG Kyle Busch f***ing sucks balls!!!!!11. In this sitiuation its damn if you do damn if you don't so your going to piss someone off. But then again people just like to b**ch
CEfanDP99 - October 4, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
actually if they would have threw the caution at the right time Colin Braun would have won
Naked_Snake - October 4, 2008 10:55 PM (GMT)
the yotas were toying with everybody the whole race?
you sure you were watching the right race here chris because the only time I saw the yotas in the lead were in the final 30 something laps while the fords dominated the first half

I watched the last 20 laps after i got home from my paintball sh*t, and from what I seen, I heard Darnell lead a bunch, and the 6, and then the last 20 Busch and Bodine got to the front after all the 3/4 wide racing, and they about got 4 - 5 car lengths on the rest of the field by themselves a few times.
Enjoi291 - October 5, 2008 12:57 AM (GMT)
Wait, maybe this is better for Hank,
IN MY OPINION no one had anything for the toyotas, they were playing with the rest of the field.
That better?

so you watched 20 laps, and made that the picture of the entire race?
Enjoi291 - October 5, 2008 02:08 AM (GMT)
Hmm....Yeah, because it's Talladega ;) You don't have to watch the entire race to know when a guy has the fastest truck. Clearly when the guy is pushing one truck so good that he pushes the guy to a 4-5 car lead he's got the strongest truck, I didn't see anyone else doing that. Sorry for sharing my opinion. Guess I should reduce my posting even more. It's alright for you to share yours though, since your always right.

the fact that you said the Toyotas were best all day then said you only watched the last 20 laps proves how flawed your "logic" really is. That's such a fallacy, that it's almost like saying Kyle Busch didn't deserve to make the Chase because of how he's run the lst 3 races because you decided to not watch any of the first 26 races.
Dustin Stroud - October 5, 2008 05:14 AM (GMT)
don't know what the arguement is about( if there is one), cause i only read whats on this page BUT the fastest truck the ENTIRE race was Eric Darnell

Dustin go to page 1, and read where Chris said "Toyota was dominant the entire race" then later says he only watched the last 20 laps.

Indeed I did. But tbh, BF is pissing me off. I can put 30 rounds in someone at close range, they don't die, then just turn around and shoot me 3 times and I'm dead. Same with sniping, it's like my bullets are completely missing people half the time. Apparently the servers are getting upgraded though.

No, it's because there are like 3 guns that you can shoot someone once and kill them. I'm gonna borrow it from a buddy then I'll get on and show how much I suck at the game.
Leach - October 6, 2008 01:27 PM (GMT)
I just snipe anyway, at least I have a chance to get a bunch of kills that way. But then theres snipers who are like semi-auto, it's f***ed.
Jeff French - October 6, 2008 11:02 PM (GMT)
this was, honestly, the best race i've ever seen in my life.
I <3'd it when I was 4 rows of 4-wide coming out of turn 2. and no one crashed.

You must not watch a lot of races then. 1998 Daytona 500, 2005 CTS Atlanta race, 2006 Cup Lowes race, 1998 bristol race are just a few races that come to mind that I would consider to be a lot better races.
