Does anybody have directv? My remote works with my new tv except for the volume up and down. It worked fine on my old tv, but not the new one. Everything else on the remote works great.

My grandpa has the same problem with his. He done something to it and got it working, I'll ask him tomorrow.

Yup, that's the only thing that wouldn't work on his was the volume.

you prolly have to do the code thing manually. the remote shouldve came with a book with codes listed for most brands just find you'res and type it in.

i have directv. i think to reprogram the remote u gotta go into menu and click remote. then go thru all thestuff. mine worked the first time. though sometimea i cant get to the guide
