Well of course Jr will beat Tony, Jr is gonna win.

Idk, Tony's been puttin on the heat these past few weeks.

And I'm sure coming from last to 6th in the prelude helps ease the pressure some.

I think he'll finish top 10 if not top 5, awesome if he wins, but I think Harvick, Burton, J. Gordon, Double J, Hamlin, and all the Roush guys will be the ones to watch for the big W this week.

Never know though, any week could have a surprise winner, Montoya and McMurray have been layin down some rubber here lately, wouldn't surprise me to see one of them win, or Kurt Busch or David Reutimann, always two guys running up front near the end that could pull it off.

JPM was fastest in practice in Q trim, idk if he got the pole or not, but I have a feeling he did. lol

I hope you're not serious rofl. Tony's been struggling, but not jr-style. Hopefully Smoke turns it around this week. Unfortunate the 2 won the pole, but oh well q doesn't mean anything.

But Jr. hasnt been all too bad at michigan. With tony's recent slumps during these races where he runs well somewhat then something happens . . . I can actually see Jr. finishing ahead of Tony . I just need jr to get a good finish I dont know what the H his problem is .. . .he better pick it up .

The problem is Junior. Nobody's got the fucking balls to admit it at Hendrick. He's got the Danica syndrome, "look at me sell shit, oh? I'm running 22nd again? okay, as long as people buy amp, we're okay". I have a really bad feeling KK will be replacing him in the 88, and that team will actually run well.

And also, fun fact. 2 years this weekend since he last won in the cup series. WTG Junior!

Then again, I always wished that KK would replace junior in the 88 . . Thing is where will Dale go if Hendrick releases him?

He'll go somewhere, he sells shit, and his last name is earnhardt. If it wasn't for that, he'd of been out of the sport long ago.

I really don't see Hendrick cutting Jr though... I mean Hendrick is part owner of Junior Motorsports... He uses that for his Nationwide drivers...

Jr has underperformed ever since he got to Hendrick, and that is pretty obvious, butJr needs Tony Eury Sr to be his crew chief. Lance McGrew is good, but Jr has only had success with Pops Eury. Eury Sr and Jr need each other. Jr needs to get Eury Sr out of the Nationwide program, and onto the 88 box.


Also while everyone says Jr would've been out of the sport had it not been for his name. Yeah right, Casey Mears is still in Nascar, along with tons of other 25th place drivers who can't sell stuff, yet they have a ride right now.

So Mears isn't a big name? lol k. jr wouldn't be where he is if it wasn't for his name, maybe still in the sport but not with a big name team.

ROFL My bad. Marcos Ambrose, AJ Allmendiger, Elliott Sadler are all in the sport, and they are in the same vote as Jr. Your point about a big name team though is true, he'd of never had been with DEI and Hendrick.

You put A.J. in the same boat as Jr? pahh what a joke. AJ is actually worth something . Compare his recent performances to Jr's then tell me if you still feel the same .

Hell I say they give AJ the 88 and call it a day . I still consider RPM to be not so bad of a team . If AJ can do what he is doing now with them then there is no telling what he could do (like you said) with a team like roush or hendricks (kyle petty reference)

At least Jr had won by his 4th year in Cup, while AJ has struggled to get top 5s.

But buttt .... AJ had to get accustomed to two separate teams within his first 5 years . Red Bull he was starting to come around when they dumped him for a WAY underexperienced Speed. Now he is getting the hang of his new team . He has a pole this season and his finishes are improving . Whats so great about Jr this year? One Pole . . .woopdeedoo

Jr needs out of Hendrick, honestly I think Jr needs to stop his Nationwide program, and just focus on himself at a team like MWR or RPM.

There are only a certain amount of characters that topic titles can have. :P

Well, he didn't choose his last name, he didn't choose his popularity, he has no control over whether or not fans like or hate him for the right or wrong reasons, he can't control the way team owners will use him as a marketing product, He never chose to be born into a rich family that was one of the most famous names in American Motorsports.

I'm not saying that if he did have a choice, he would chose differently, but he's aware that that's how things are, and he does his best to comply. You can't tell me he has an easy life, Yeah, I know he's not livin in the deepest of darkness, but I know he has a lot of troubles cause, by all of that that he had no control over.


It seems like some of you guys just jump on his bad times as a chance to hate him even more because he's not doing well, but is still over-rated (again, nothing he has control over) and when he's in a slump and not doing well, you guys choose to just kick him in the ribs, When he never did anything wrong.

The media is going to over-rate him because of his name (Dale Jr doesn't have control over the media) and there's going to be dumbfuck fans that just cheer for him because that's the only name they know, in that case, hate the "fan" not the driver. I can't tell you how many redneck fuck holes I know that always scream "WOOO GO TONY!" "YRRRRRR BABY SMOKE NUMBRR 20 BABY!" (Yes I know someone that obviously doesn't even watch races and he still thinks Tony races the 20) But I don't hate Stewart, I hate those ass fucks. In fact, I like Tony.

So, please, when Dale Jr. starts insulting other drivers for no reason, wrecking people for no reason, thinking he is the best driver to ever grace the track and say things like "all we do is win" then be my guest to have a valid reason to have so much hate for Jr.

But until then, how about you guys look at the real Jr, not the one the media is putting out as the headline of Nascar, but the Race Car driver.


I may have said some stupid opinions or facts, but I don't give a shit, I'm sick and god damn tired of people hating on Jr for no good god damn reason.

I really feel bad for Jr, he's obviously had a rough past 10 years. His head is messed up right now. He knows he's struggling, but when everyone and he knows it too is piling it on him, it only hurts his head, and mental aspect.

Lets face it, if you are in the best equipment, surrounded with the best people in the sport, BUT you have no confidence in yourself, your not gonna win. It doesn't matter what sport, thats just the case.

BOT, I think Jr is just giving up, I don't hate him, but I'm not a huge fan of him. There are times where he just throws up that, I don't give a fuck attitude because my last name is bigger then the sport itself. I think him starting a Nationwide team was a bad bad idea, since then, it's like things have gone down hill.
