What are your thoughts on how many teams we should have and also are we interested in a keeper league?

I'd like to make this the best fantasy football league we've ever put together by getting the most competitive managers in there and as many of them as we can get. The winner would really have to earn it. Keeper leagues allow managers who do well in previous seasons to retain players they had in those previous seasons. You essentially get rewarded for playing well.

We generally have around 15 give or take a few that want to play from THL. I could easily fill the remaining spots to make a 20 team ultra competitive league, but that's up to what you guys want.

The only problem with a "Mega" league is when you get to bye weeks, there are gonna be outrageous trades for players for one week only. If you keep it at 15-16, that allows all the teams to have 2 Quaterbacks then. Instead of one team being stacked with 3 or 4 and another team with just 1.

That's a great point. If it were capped at 16 then each team would concievibly (sp?) have a shot at 2 QBs in the league. I think that's a good limit with all the byes to deal with.

Would there be a way you could cap the league at 2 QB's Per team though? Or would you think everyone who plays has enough common sense to just take 2.

There's options.

1. Make everyone draft 2 QBs by making two QB slots, this would result in all the starters going off the board much earlier and you would have to start your QBs each week. This would end up causing the same issue we were trying to avoid.

2. Cap the amount of QBs one team can have to 2 at any point in the year.

3. Only allowing one active QB (as in a player who is not on a bye that week or is not injured) to be on the roster. This would allow someone to have an injured starter while also having a player to fill in.

Ignore the email I don't even know how it sent, that league doesn't exist. There's another that's been created. I wanted to get a list of people who were interested in playing and then check on their former teams to see just how active they were. That's why I haven't yet sent out PWs and links.

Currently set for the 28th of August, the night I move into my dorm. So personally not gonna be having it on that date. Do we have any suggestions?

Announcement: I will be accepting the requests of Myles and Curtis to play. Their additions along with some anticipated additions coming soon puts us at 15 teams. That means we need at least one more team and we could even cap it there depends on what you want to do as a league, but we do need one more team at least to make it even.

Dumb question, but I just logged in and saw I had an invite from "THL Fantasy Football 09" to join that league, but I'm already in "THL Dynasty Football". Is the first the league we had with the errors?
