Tony Stewart is becoming the new Denny Hamlin at Pocono. I wonder if Wan Pab can get something good rolling this week. Jeff Gordon with a good race car as well. Letarte signing that extension and his new spotter, going to be a good weekend!

TS14's always been pretty good at Pocono. Not dominant like Hamlin, but he's usually quick.

So did Martina Truex qualify in the mid 20's like he normally does?

Oh and I dont know if anyone else saw Clint Bowyers save in qualifying, but it was unbelieveable

ya that was insane, thought it would of looped for sure and he was still faster then kevin conway

you know this race sucks when i listen to half of it on MRN and it's boring.

Mighta spoken too soon...what the hell? Excitement is not supposed to be within 300 miles of Pocono.

Typical MRN would be SIDE BY SIDE BANGING FENDERS CLASHING OFF THE WALL AS THEY RACE THROUGH THE TUNNEL TURN! HERE COMES THE 48 BACK FROM 25 CAR LENGTHS TO CLOSE IN ON THE 29 AND 24!

in reality it's single file boring as shit racing, but after all they have to "paint the picture" of nascar rumble, even if it's more boring than watching some grass grow

Oh I know the spot is the problem but they need soft walls down there

Its been awhile since i;ve seen a car engine in the main cup series out of a car and on the track. Pocono seems to have some really hash wrecks.

I think the only thing Pocono needs to address is their lack of a catchfence down the back, that could get ugly, especially with all the trees along there. On the inside we see something every now and then get nasty on the inside, but a lack of a safer wall isn't as bad as there being an opening with a 90 degree bend where a car can slam in head on.

Please rain!! I want it to be over now so Gordon's streak can finally end. Even if they went green its a good chance that Gordon could take it still, he's got an amazing car right now, he can pretty much hang with anybody.

Hope Sadler's alright, that was a pretty brutal hit there.

How many times has the 48 wrecked the 2 in the last few years. 4? 5?
