Pro Truck Flip

This happened last night at our track on a restart.There was no green flag given until the leader had passed the start/finish line(which is wrong,supposed to wave at the yellow line in turn 4) and it caused this stackup.Everybody walked away from it.

I have some photos of it where the guy is standing on the 2nd rung from the top and ducking.Theres a mark on the fence pole too,so I`ll get some shots of that Friday night if I remember.

Do you upload all the pics you take to a certain website? I'd love to look at them. I like looking at pics from different tracks around the US, but some from Canada should be awesome too.

Actually he fucked up again right after that.He didn't throw a caution(or red) until the trucks were in turns 3 and 4 at fullspeed.This easily could have been much worse.

Touring series:
Western Canadian SuperLate Model Challenge(5 races here,1 in Regina,same as slm)
West(Think Cascar light)
Supertrucks(gm 604 crate,makes more power than our guys,plus they run slicks)
Nascar Canadian Tire series(One stop on August 4th)

We host 20-23 events a year(pretty well every weekend from mid May until Late September).Our car counts are down a bit this year(10 late models,13 trucks,10 street,7 thunder,13 minis,and 8 west).

The Trucks have really killed the Street and Thunder division because they all have to run Cooper Cobras(trucks and streets should run slicks,thunders can run any street tire imo) and to be competive you need a crate motor(gm 602-350).Plus the trucks are all built on a Gm Metric frame and cost about the same to run as a competive Streetstock.There is however a ford(with a 351) and a dodge(360) that run the truck series.The Ford kicks ass when he comes out(parttime because hes a farmer) and the Dodge had the points lead until last week when he blew up and had to run a guys other truck(a chev) and had the hood fall off during the feature.
There's also a 06 Mustang(302) and a 71 Demon(360) that run Streetstock.

Well we had another one this weekend.This was during the 100 lap Race for the trucks.Alex was leading the race with 28 to go in a rented truck(his dodge blew the motor 2 weeks ago and he was still waiting for parts) and the guy who owns the the truck spun out in front of him and let off the brake and slid up the track where Alex drilled him.Wades(guy who spun) truck needs everything from the seat back as it bent the clip up and sideways and Alex's needs a front fender and nosecone as he put everything back together on it at the track and was trying to get back out to finish the race but the officials wouldn't let him.

Btw the two trucks that were in that big crash were both out again 6 days later.The truck that flipped was ten laps down(she shouldn't be in the class anyways) and the yellow 33 that went over her finished 3rd and donated the 500 bucks he won to Alex so he can put his truck back together and try to win the championship this year(3 races left,he's down 22 points).
