With a lot of the stuff that Zeb talks about in there to me it sounds like he wants SZ to be like THL. All the stuff he listed we already have and its only getting stronger. But this did spark an idea I had been thinking about for awhile now. I was thinking about why SZ is so widely disliked and when it comes down to it, it's because of the administration and their actions. They're trying to elect global moderators, but I was thinking about what the US government does. We have a mid-term every 2 years for Congress and a presidential election for President every 4. I want the members here to see that with great performance in posting and attitude that they have room for promotion. Also current staff will need to exibit those qualities as well in order to gain support from other staff and members. I myself would be glad to step down as an administrator here if a large portion of the members believed it to be an upgrade to the board. I would like to think that everyone else (other than Chris) would do the same. So this is just a thought to maybe let the members feel like they're in power a little more and to create a friendly and non-speed zone environment.

Thoughts?

So, like a presedent, have member's be up for election's as admin?

And have Admin's in the vote as well to see who all stay's goe's and come's?

Just like the USA with the presidental election's?




Also, yes, Zeb is stealing our idea's. I dont mean it as a power hungry thing either, but he complain's about how each board should be individual and should come up with their own idea's. Yet, Kizer (A freind of Zeb's) come's to the board monthly to check what type of thing's we are doing, he hasnt posted since who know's when, and Im sorry if anyone here is freind's with him, but honestly, that has to be where Zeb is getting idea's from. I know I might just be assuming thing's but I am almost positive I am right, I have been thinking about this for about a month and it really pisses me off but there is nothing I can do about it that would be fair. I have noticed however, that SpeedZone has lately been going down the tube's, no one else may see it, but I can, it's like a sludge in a sink drain, it is slowly (In this case VERY slowly) sinking to the bottom, and losing posting member's. You watch, another year or two, and SpeedZone will disappear just like all of the other board's, partly do to Admin action's there (The Dictatorship) and partly to the lack of change there.

The only NASCAR board i'm on is THL. (except for patty's and my NASCAR board.) I think speedzone or whatever should but out.

The series of NASCAR were moved as sub-forums under NASCAR, to help make the forum not look so "large" and not as welcoming to fans. I also moved the Wrestling forum as a sub-forum under sports, even though it's arguable where that should be, hopefully it will generate more interest in people looking in the other sports forums. I added the forum "Hobbies and Interests" for you to discuss things about what you collect, literature, poetry, song writing, etc. This is now for information about your interests in things such as movies, music, or Television (that is still to be placed in Entertainment)

Also, there is a Support and Feedback thread, report big signatures there, so admins can more easily change them. If anything, for those of you who want to gain an image this would help and also help admins out. To staff who are editing signatures... simply edit it out and place "Signature did not fit Sig guidelines of 500 x 250" and for all images just place a "Images: (URL of IMAGE pasted here)" this way people are not upset about having to go dig up and retrieve the old signatures. Support and Feedback is also a place to report any strange posts or members behaving strange. If there is spam, porn, or any rule violation anywhere, report it there. If you have suggestions for the forum layout, staff recruitments, contests, etc. post it there. If you have a rule critique, go right ahead and spill it. Don't complain about the rules, if your unwilling to vocalize your opinion about them. (Which seems like a lot of you have that knack for)"

Because, I have no proof that he is doing anything wrong. It would just make me look as bad as Zeb

Its done, I understand what this is about. Hes part of that board and he simply doesn't want to be a part of this.
